What we say: 2.5 stars

Nara Garden is a large, family-orientated place and while the dark, rattan-finished rooms may not be the best looking on the beach, they are close to the biggest. There is also a moderate-sized pool with plenty of shade. On the downside, this is all behind a stunningly ugly retaining wall, though once you're in the hotel you can't see it.
