This hip resort located towards the eastern end of Big Buddha Beach consists of rooms in a main building as well as villa-type accommodation.
The resort has charm and character with interesting walkways and water features and the rooms are furnished in a modern, fresh style, with white concrete walls, vaulted ceilings and mood lighting. The accommodation is spacious, with seating areas both in the rooms as well as on patios and balconies. All rooms have air-con, WiFi and free minibar. When booking, be aware that the rooms backing the main road catch a fair amount of traffic noise, but this is not a problem with the rooms towards the sea. Chill @ Hip Restaurant & Bar is located on the seafront next to the swimming pool, and features authentic Italian dishes, as well as the usual Thai fare. Don't be put off by the swimming pool. At first glance it appears dirty, but it's lined with green mosaic tiles that merely suggest algae; it's a bit strange in contrast to the clear blue sea next door. You'll find Punpreeda a few hundred metres past the Petcharat Pier, on the sea side of the road.
