What we say:

World Resort offers across-the-board accommodation types depending on budget; from their standard hotel rooms or bungalows through to the luxurious seafront villa. Even the standard rooms and bungalows are fairly spacious, with decent bathrooms, cable TV, safes, minibar, air-con and furnished patios, offering value for money. If budget allows, the generously spaced seafront villa is excellent value in comparison to other villas on the beach. Features include a garden bathroom, upmarket furnishings, stack-away doors leading onto a furnished shaded sala, and stairs leading straight to the beach. The resort has a large pool with a children's pool and Jacuzzi, as well as a spa offering the usual treatments. The seaview restaurant offers both Thai and international cuisine at reasonable prices, with traditional Thai dancing some evenings, while a pool bar serves lighter lunches. The resort maintains the beach in front which is good for swimming.

Beware of bike rental

Clean, quiet and about 15 min walk from Fisherman village (spells out: FAR). Mostly families - so expect kids. There was some construction going around, but it wasn't too terrible. I rented a (overpriced) bike from the reception and they made me pay for damages I didn't do. Needless to say, a place that screws its own customers doesn't deserve a stay.
