What we say:

Not quite free as the name implies, but close to it, these bungalows are positioned under the trees along a path leading to the beach. Spotlessly clean air-con or fan-cooled, wood-clad bungalows have a minimalist look, and are tasteful considering the price category. Elements such as terracotta floors, mosquito nets, hardwood furniture, hammocks and bamboo ceilings create a rustic look. The restaurant, set on the beach, is a regular meeting place for locals because of its consistent, well-priced food and great vibe. The beach bar offers a wide variety of drinks including smoothies and cocktails. With all this wrapped up into such affordable prices, it is easy to see why Free House is no longer a well-kept secret. To find Free House, when driving towards Nathon, take a small dirt road immediately past the Lawana entrance, and follow the signs.
