What we say:

Don't be deceived by the nondescript exterior of Cocooning Hotel; once you enter this quaint little hotel, you will fall for its charm. Six standard rooms are individually furnished in different colours and themes, equipped with large comfortable beds, air-con, TV and fridge. The Sunset room comprises two levels, with a loft bedroom and spacious lounge area. The spotless rooms are serviced daily, and an all-pervading laidback atmosphere adds to the appeal. The swimming pool, literally located in the restaurant, is no more than a splash pool, but is enough to cool you down. The restaurant and bar must be the one of the cheapest of the Fisherman's Village hotel options, with Thai food options from 60 baht a meal. Mix with locals in the bar who are drawn by cheap cocktails and good food. Cocooning Hotel is excellent value for money considering the location. From the main Fisherman's Village entrance, turn right when you get the pier. The hotel is approximately 400m opposite B1 Villa, on the non-sea side of the road. Recommended.
