Description
Ko Tao Resort is definitely the fanciest place on Ao Chalok Baan Kao and one of the most luxurious -- and expensive -- spots on Ko Tao. They offer a wide variety of rooms all suited to high budget travellers seeking a luxurious level of comfort and service. Rooms of all sizes and price at Ko Tao Resort are spacious and beautifully designed and decorated, and all rooms have satellite TV. Bungalows are spread around the vast grounds along a stone pathway that leads from the beach up to the hillside. The large, open restaurant overlooks the pool and beach sundeck and specialises in fresh seafood and BBQ. A breakfast buffet comes with all rooms. Besides a long stretch of private beach, the resort also offers a plethora of amenities such as a fitness centre, snorkels and kayaks, a classy souvenir shop, internet and travel info. Scuba certification and recreational diving are also available. Free transportation to and from Mae Haad is provided daily at 8:30, 9:00 and 13:30.
