Description
Laem Klong Dive Resort, AKA Reef Rider, is geared toward the diving crowd, offering PADI certification courses and recreational dive trips and inexpensive accommodation. Laem Klong sits just off the beach in western Chalok Baan Kao and offers comfortable rooms above the dive shop -- nothing fancy but they’re clean and well-kept. Laem Klong is a fine destination too for other marine activities. Snorkels (100B/day) and kayaks (200B/half day, 400B/day) are available for rental. A selection of books are available for winding down after a long day of diving, and travel information is available. The beachside Reef Bar is also a cool place to hang out. Free transportation is offered from the pier in Mae Haad.
