Located on Haad Saal Chao to the west of Chalok Ban Kao, Viewpoint caters to those seeking a touch of luxury at a reasonable price. A variety of different-sized huts are spaced throughout Viewpoint's immense terraced grounds, which are immaculately kept and well-shaded with palm trees and colouful, sweet-smelling flowers. While none of the rooms offer air-con, these beautifully-designed thatch-roofed huts are very spacious and tastefully decorated. They are spotlessly clean and feature high ceilings, soft comfortable beds and large stone bathrooms. Many bungalows also have private balconies with gorgeous views. The restaurant however does not keep pace with the overall classy appearance of theresort but provides a nice view of Chalok Baan Kao and some delicious dishes. Viewpoint is a peaceful and romantic spot that won't cost a fortune.

A lovely place for a birthday! -

We stayed here a few weeks ago for 5 nights as a treat for my birthday. The room was lovely, the view spectacular (from the shower too!). Only down was no air con so pretty sleepless nights! Funky bar round the corner with fire shows each night.
