Description
Accoding to their brochure, Chaweng Garden is Heaven on Earth -- quite a claim, and not one the resort goes close to achieving. It does however try to be different, with a range of bungalows plus cheaper, hotel-style rooms nearby reception all set amongst lush tropical gardens. The latter are bland and uninspired but are a very good size. The bungalows are similarly cavernous and while the decorating is lacklustre and the beds firm bordering on lumpy, they're nevertheless more than adequate. Some of the deluxe seaview rooms are second storey affairs with views over the pool and ocean and have rather unusual semi-open air bathrooms. Walk-in rates are substantially overpriced -- look for an internet rate or ask for a discount.
