Greatly improved
What we say: 
The Island has improved considerably since our last visit -- staff are friendly and chatty and the accommodation has been spruced up. Rooms are clean with hot water bathrooms, air-con, tv and firm beds. The large, spacious and very lush grounds lead down to the beach where a pool was being worked on when we visited in May 2006. At these rates, The Island is very good value.
