Baan Haad Ngam is located in the northern end of Chaweng and offers three types of accommodation. The well-priced superior rooms are set into the main building, and the deluxe villas are positioned in the garden. Pool villas are to the side of the main resort, and are of a more modern design with private plunge pools. Water forms a major feature in the resort, with a huge cascading waterfall leading from the reception to the rooms, stepping stones over waterways and ponds with fish. Rooms are decorated in warm tones, with dark wood furniture and crisp white bedding. Bathrooms are spacious and feature double vanities, spa baths and sky lights. Room amenities include air-con, TV with DVD player, bathrobes, slippers, tea- and coffee-making facilities and WiFi. The resort offers an on-site spa as well as a large seafront swimming pool. Olivio Italian Restaurant which is popular with local expats for its authentic Italian cuisine also serves Thai food.
