Samui Lagoon Bay
Big rooms, plain decor

What we say:
Samui Lagoon Bay has a fine central beachside location, but the very generously-sized bungalows are somewhat blandly furnished and have super-soft beds. The big assets here are the super-lush, bordering on overgrown gardens and the beachside pool, which considerably ads to the value for money here.

We had a poolview bungalow and paid 2500BAHT / night. The beach was total calm , no tourists were there in the southern part of chaweng. The sliding door didn´t really close so that the mosquitos came inside , the samething happened through the floor, between the wooden planks are gaps und you can look to the sandy ground. The interiour is very basic, broken and old. I guess no maintanence since 10 years. Space is enough for 3-4 people incl. children. The swimming pool is not really clean, my naturally blond daughter got green hair after using it for a hour! The location is very nice. The bungalows behind are standig very close together, so if you like to stay here, because it´s really hard to find a cheaper one at this beach, take this first row behind the swimming pool. The beachfront bungalow isn´t it worth to pay so much more!! The management are very friendly. The bungalows and rooms were free everywhere but all the other resorts didn´t give us big discounts!
