Description
Chaweng Cove has, for the money, pretty reasonable rooms spread across its medium-sized grounds. Rooms are a fair size, all with aircon, hot water bathrooms -- not always super clean -- minibar and TV. The multi-level pool by the beach would be a hit with children and the resort was just about over-run with little people when we visited. The bulk of the rooms face one another, so if you want more privacy, one of the rooms in the hotel building are a better idea. Very popular.

The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport at the bottom end of Chaweng beach. So it is alittle away from the night life but within walking distance.
This is a nice place with a good beach location 2500 baht per night (high season) for an air-con bungalow with bathroom, hot water,T.V.,fridge and free breakfast. The hotel also has 3 different swimming pools ,restaurant and a tour service.
The staff were nice enough to let ue keep our bags there when we checked out early to go for a trip for the day because we had a late flight out. They also let us have a shower before we headed to the airport.

Baan Talay Resort
Chaweng Beach, Ko Samui
Most of the bungalows here run around the edge of the rather good umbrella-encircled pool. They're a fair size, though there are two rooms to a bungalow, so hope for quiet neighbours. The beachfront bungalows are considerably more expensive when really the only major difference is the private... more

Samui Resortel (Munchies)
17 Moo 3 Chaweng Beach, Ko Samui
Samui Resortel's rooms have had a makeover since out last visit, and while they're not particularly stylish affairs, they're nevertheless clean and imaginatively furnished, though the bathrooms can be a bit patchy. There's a well placed beachfront pool and restaurant and there are loads of rooms,... more

Seascape Beach Resort
28/14 Moo 3 Chaweng Beach, Ko Samui
The rooms at Seascape both hotel-style and bungalows alike are big, if somewhat sparsely furnished. Of the two, the hotel rooms are better value, but unfortunately the views are mainly of the car park. Some of the bungalows have sea views but they vary a bit in quality and have very peculiarly... more

Samui Paradise
49 Moo 3 Chaweng Beach, Ko Samui
Samui Paradise has improved greatly since our first visit and while they still have some of the older scrapier bungalows their new deuxe bungalows are very smart affairs -- tastefully decorated and very comfortable with immaculate bathrooms and comfortable beds with top-notch bedding. The gardens... more

Tradewinds
17/14 Moo 3 Chaweng Beach, Ko Samui
We had heard very good things about this resort, but were let down. Plain rooms are badly in need of renovation and while the bathrooms are ok, the rooms are faded and feel damp. Gardens on the other-hand are very pleasant. There's newer rooms in a two storey building ar the rear of the resort --... more
