• Lovely

  We booked the Jungle Villa, which was beautiful and perfect for the occasion. The staff were friendly throughout ( although were a bit too touchy feely with the girls. our stay and the pool area was lovely. The transport was a bit of a hassle and will bump up the bill a fair amount. However, when it came to paying we were charged and extra 900 baht for an extra bed, even though the invoice we had previously received had included this. The staff had also taken the only copy of the invoice we had on us at the time for the deposit amount and total fee for our stay. We had to get to the airport and so could not query this at the time and as we know longer had a copy of the invoice with us, did not have the best platform for an argument, This put a downer on the end of a lovely stay.

• Stunning

  This place is fantastic. The views are to die for and the huts are really good value. The style of the who place is a mix of French and Thai and its built within the mountain and you feel miles away from the hectic Chaweng down below. The pool is fab as well. The only thing I would say is that the food and drink is a little bit more expensive.

• Excellent

  This is a wonderful place with spectacular views of Chaweng beach and the island. The people are very friendly here, maybe just bordering on being a bit too friendly (so girls if you don't enjoy some fun banter with the locals, then don't go here), but nonetheless, it's all in good fun. The food is good and the pool is fantastic... we didn't even make it down to the beach. The only hassle is transport as going up and down will cost you between 100 - 200B (200 after midnight) if you don't take the free transport at 10:30 am or 6:30 pm. But for the beauty and tranquillity you get from staying here, it's definitely worth it. I would stay here again when I come back to Ko Samui!

• LOVE

  enough good things cannot be said about the jungle club.the staff, the pool, the rates. it's a little respite from the craziness of chewang beach. getting up the hill can be a hassle and a bit scary and they charge you if you don't go up at the appointed pick up and drop off times, but this should not deter anyone from going. our room was small but comfortable. no frills, but the bathrooms were charming and the fan kept me cool at night. much love for the jungle club. best place i've stayed in SE asia so far.

• Special

  This is truly a special place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the people that run and own the place are genuine good people. It really doesn't matter if its far from the beach - because what you get at The Jungle Club is solitude and something you CAN'T get on the busy beaches - relaxation! I stayed here when I first got to Thailand - and it was a great way to start a trip because I could just unwind! I then brought my friend back a few weeks later. I am still in Thailand and will return at the end of my trip. I can't wait to see Jak, Pok, Ang, It and Valerie again! If hotels could have groupies - I think I'd be one for The Jungle Club!
