Description
On what used to be the Princes Village, Le Paradis has a range of traditional teak houses (shipped down from Ayuthaya) along with more contemporay Thai style chalets. Both the teak houses and the chalets are outstanding, with the latter particularly impressive affairs with massive open air bathrooms and tasteful furnishings. Staff are very professional and friendly and walking into the grounds you feel you're entering slice of history -- Le Paradis is immaculate. There's also a very slick beachside pool and restaurant. Rates are high, but if you're looking for a special destination, Le Paradis is close to unique on Ko Samui. Recommended.
