What we say:

Chaweng Garden Beach Resort offers two styles of accommodation, standard and superior rooms set in a building, and bungalow and villa-style rooms set in a garden under tall shady trees. All rooms have air-con and TV, and rates include breakfast. The bungalows are very smart, with polished wooden floors, silk cushions, stained glass and orchids, and are furnished with beautiful functional pieces and crafted furniture. Tall windows, pendant lights and crisp white bedding add to the appeal. The building rooms are also well appointed, and reasonably priced. The resort boasts two restaurants: Bai Pho Seafood next to the lobby on the streetfront, and the more relaxed Sukulaya restaurant, where breakfast is served, on the seafront. The latter offers a barbecue seafood grill in the evenings. The restaurant and bar area is set around a dark mosaic-tiled pool, under shady trees, and flows onto the beach. This is a great area to relax in the midday sun.
