The Imperial Boat House Beach Resort is by no means quaint or intimate.
It consists of 210 rooms, in various categories, ranging from rooms in three-storey buildings, to old rice barges that have been converted into double-storey bungalow-type accommodation. The barges are more of a novelty than anything else, and for the price one would do better staying in one of the building rooms. Good deals are available on the premier rooms, which are spacious and have all the mod-cons such as air-con, TV, minibar, safety boxes, tea- and coffee-making facilities and WiFi in the public areas. The resort is child friendly, offering two large swimming pools, one facing the rooms and one boat-shaped one next to the beach, restaurant and pool bar. Other facilities include a kids' club, spa and gym. Check online for a discounted rate.
