Grandma's House is ideally located only about 200 metres from Samui's iconic Big Buddha. Owned and managed by the vibrant Khun Nui and her husband, these bungalows offer a home-from-home atmosphere, and are ideal for longer stays with a less touristy atmosphere. Both one- and two-bedroom bungalows are available, with the larger ones positioned by the water's edge, and you can expect spectacular sunset views of Big Buddha. The wooden bungalows are typical Thai style with balconies and rattan and wooden furniture. All have fan-cooled kitchenettes and separate lounge areas, bedrooms are air-con. Other facilities include free WiFi and cable TV with DVD players. Khun Nui prides herself on her garden, which includes vegetables and herbs, and is happy to share her knowledge with her guests, many of whom are regulars who return year after year.
