Arayaburi Boutique Resort
Plenty for kids to do

What we say:
Arayaburi is a fairly large resort, but bungalows are positioned in the well-established gardens to still offer a sense of space and privacy. The bungalows are a little dated in decor style, but they are spacious, and well equipped with facilities such as air-con, satellite TV, WiFi, minibar, safety boxes and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The resort is ideal for families, boasting two swimming pools: a smaller one in the garden, and a large one with kids' pool on the beachfront. The beach is good; it's well-maintained by the resort and has calm waters. A children's playground lies under shady trees, and an interestingly laid out mini-golf course offers family fun. Arayaburi also offers a fitness centre as well as daily activities such as vegetable carving, darts and cocktail making. The beachfront restaurant offers the usual choices of Thai and Western fare. Arayaburi is a good family getaway, for those wanting to be away from the busy tourist areas. To reach the resort, head past Big Buddha, turn left between the Family Mart and 7-eleven, and follow the signboards for Arayaburi.
