What we say:

Water is a distinct feature of this resort, with a cascading waterfall that drops into pools and winds its way through the villas and vast manicured gardens and down to the beach. The accommodation is in the form of rooms, suites and villas, some of which have private swimming pools. There are two large swimming pools on the grounds, one large Roman-bath style rectangular one, designated as adults only, and a freeform one with kids' pool on the beachfront. Melati boasts a beachfront restaurant, as well as two bars and the Kan Sak Thong fine-dining restaurant next to the waterfall, which specialises in Thai and French dishes. Private barbecues are available in the villas, complete with chef and waiter. If budget is not an issue, then Melati is an excellent option both for families as well as romantic getaways.
