Same Same is one of the most popular backpacker guesthouses in Haad Rin and is always among the first to fill up around Full Moon time. The Scandinavian owners really know how to show guests a good time and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. Weekly live music, quiz nights, pool and a great selection of beers and international grub keep this place packed and happening. Upstairs rooms are available with fan or air-con and are none too fancy but comfortable and not too expensive. Seldom a quiet place, people come here to play and have a good time, so bring some ear plugs if you need a break from the action.

Great Cooking Classes -

We did not stay here but did a 3 day Thai Cooking Class - this was excellent, really great fun and I recommend to anyone who enjoys Thai food to learn a few dishes! The chef also explains which vegetables you may substitute in a dish if it may not be available in your country.
