Description
Haad Rin Resort, in the centre of the party scene on Sunrise Beach, has a guest house building on the road and several rows or wood and concrete bungalows lining its sandy grounds between the road and the beach. The rooms are clean but very basic and cost more than they should. The laid-back beach restaurant has a good vegetarian menu and also makes good Italian, Thai and fish dishes and plays movies throughout the day as guests mend their hangovers and rest up for nightly parties. The popular Cactus Bar is right next door so invest in some industrial strength earplugs if you plan to sleep.
