Ko Pha Ngan is so big, we’ve split it up into areas, select one of the below for detailed accommodation and food listings in that area. Sights and general overviews for Ko Pha Ngan as a whole can be found via the icons above. Don’t know where to start? Read an overview of Ko Pha Ngan’s different areas.
Sprawling Neptune's Villa was one of the places we stayed in on our very first trip to Ko Pha Ngan in the early 1990s and, well, it has changed quite a bit.
Stretching from beachside to the road and then running back from the road, Neptune's offers a wide variety of rooms from simply furnished upstairs and downstairs rooms towards the beach and hotel style lodgings overlooking the pool on the far side of the road through to quite swish deluxe beachfront rooms with a bathtub looking straight out over the ocean. Throughout the rooms are well maintained and clean -- all are air-con -- and the gardens are as lush as they are loved. The pool, while off the beach, is a very good size -- if you need lap length, they have it and the rooms back here also have a good outlook (the cheapest rooms near the beach have no view to speak of other than the garden and the rooms facing them. This is a very professionally run place and feels like it has done a good job straddling the guesthouse to resort divide. Very popular, reservations in advance are recommended. Check online for a competitive rate - we were offered considerably less as a walk-in.
