Description
Neptune's Villa consists of small brick bungalows by the beach as well as larger stone bungalows and two-storey duplexes along a garden pathway leading away from the beach back to the restaurant. The rooms are comfy and well-equipped, each with a refrigerator, and many with air-con and satellite TV. One of the more popular places on this stretch of Sunset Beach, the vibe here is laid-back and a little friendlier than some. A delicious and relaxed Moroccan restaurant looks over the bungalows and the sea from the second storey above the reception area.

I booked Neptune's Villa as it was the cheapest place I could pre-book for the full moon party. It was a good standard of accommodation but too expensive, and the room was small. The beach at this of Haad Rin is horrendous, but at least it's a little quieter. The staff don't have the happy friendly vibe that you get used to in Thailand. If I was to go to full moon again, I'd not bother pre-booking and just stay at a closeby, nice beach and get the boat down.
