Neptunes Villa
Moroccan/Haad Rin fusion

What we say:
Neptune's Villa is probably one of the highest end resorts on Sunset Beach and consists of blocks of very comfortable and luxurious rooms and villas, set around the beachfront and surrounding the pool at the back of the resort. Even the standard rooms boast all mod cons including TVs, and feature big comfy mattresses and beautiful wooden decorative touches. Built in wardrobes are handy, and overall the rooms and the entire resort have a seriously classy feel which is added to by the lush gardens The pool has a big sun deck with loungers, perfect for post-party baking. One of the more popular places on this stretch of Sunset Beach, the vibe here is laid-back and a little friendlier than some. A delicious and relaxed Moroccan restaurant looks over the bungalows and the sea from the second storey above the reception area.

Overpriced but prebookable!
I booked Neptune's Villa as it was the cheapest place I could pre-book for the full moon party. It was a good standard of accommodation but too expensive, and the room was small. The beach at this of Haad Rin is horrendous, but at least it's a little quieter. The staff don't have the happy friendly vibe that you get used to in Thailand. If I was to go to full moon again, I'd not bother pre-booking and just stay at a closeby, nice beach and get the boat down.
