Description
Seaside is one of the best values spots around, and the atmosphere is great. Small wooden huts with fan or air-con and some huge bungalows for three people are scattered around a large grassy grove. All rooms are well-built and very clean with large bathrooms, and they're easy on the bank account as well. The cosy little brick restaurant has a great selection of Italian, English and cheap Thai and Chinese cuisine. This is a good place to hang out and soak up the vibes. The staff is also very accommodating. A good choice.

I originally planned to stop here for just a few days but ended up staying nearly two weeks and I would totally recommend it. Very nice huts, excellent food, nice garden setting, friendly and helpful staff, large screen TV with all the latest DVDs, Premiership football -- basically everything (almost) you could want from somewhere to stay. The only small criticism is that it's a ten minute walk from Haad Rin town and sunrise beach, although if you're after peace and tranquillity then that's not a bad thing.
The prices have gone up though. I paid 200B a night, although this was over Christmas/New Year, i.e. the peak season, but it was still excellent value.
