Harmony Beach Resort
Cool jungle village

What we say:
Harmony has a super relaxed island village feel. Basic bamboo fan huts are set along a jungle hillside and are a good choice for chilled-out backpackers, and a selection of large wooden duplexes at the base of the hill face the sea for some good views of Ko Samui. The larger rooms are great for groups of varying size and families. Everywhere the creative touch of the owners is clear, whether in the lovely artwork decorating the rooms, or the beautiful flower-covered dining terrace. Harmony enjoys a long stretch of secluded beach, so it's very quiet in the low season, but even at peak times, when things are a bit more lively, it's got plenty of tranquility to keep you relaxed. The swimming pool and beach bar are popular, and the restaurant has a classy yet very comfortable atmosphere. Built into the hill amidst boulders, it's a laid-back spot to enjoy good vibes and tasty food. The menu is a good mix of international food, with cheap Thai dishes, and there is an emphasis on healthy meals and shakes. With plenty of cushions and low tables along with good mellow music, this is a cool place to relax and dine. Highly recommended.
