Bird
Tranquil setting

What we say:
The beach at Bird is wide, but the sand is rough, so bring a thick towel if you plan to lay out. The cheapest rooms here are cramped little wooden huts, and while they don't provide much room to move around, they are clean and sturdy with fresh bathrooms. Wooden air-con duplexes on the beach and a variety of larger concrete and wood and brick bungalows offer much more space and comfort but cost quite a bit more. The folks here are friendly, and their chilled little restaurant is mostly inexpensive. A good quality spot to relax.
