Located at the northern end of Sunrise Beach, the majority of bungalows here are large, worn concrete duplexes spread around a green palm grove away from the beach. Some newer, more charming little wooden huts with carved teak wood are a much better choice, and more spacious solid wooden huts sit near the beach as well and are quite comfortable. Aside from the older units in the back, this place is a good value for this area.

Nice Place
The place is great as long as you can get past the crabby owner.

The best spot on Haad Rin - 18th May, 2005
The only reason to stay in Haad Rin is for the party and this place is at the end of the beach which is quieter -- though you can still hear the bar on the hill till 6 am -- but you don't go to Haad Rin to sleep! A safe spot for full moon...

Best on Haad Rin beach - 5th May, 2004
If you want to stay at the sunrise beach at Haad Rin, Seaview, at the northern end of the beach, is the spot. It's away from the village, which makes it quieter -- that's important as the beach parties near the village go on here until 4am -- every night. The 1km long stretch of beach is a beautiful spot to wake up by in the morning. We stayed at the larger bungalows (600B) near the restaurant, which are spacious and well kept clean. The smaller rooms (there's about ten) are right on the beach, just like the movie. All over a good place to stay.
