Description
Tommy is popular among younger party people and has a hip vibe. Through mid-2007, a major construction project is underway, including the addition of a new swimming pool. Even during construction, the atmosphere remains social and fun, and a few room options are available, including guesthouse rooms and private Thai style bungalows. The accommodations all have air-con and cost more than the average backpacker spot, but they are very well-kept and comfy. Located on a good wide stretch of beach, Tommy's volleyball net is in use every afternoon and the beach bar slings out some tasty cocktails. Even during this major overhaul, Tommy's is a happening place.
