Toward the centre of Haad Rin's Sunrise Beach, Bay Shore sits along one of the best stretches of beach for swimming and sunbathing. The whole resort is a super swanky high end joint, with a multistorey block of rooms and large luxurious bungalows scattered around lush tropical gardens. Although everything is quite tightly packed, there is room for a large beachfront pool and you can't really get a better position on the full moon party beach. All rooms are plush, comfy beds, air-con. Tvs, as standard with Jacuzzis in the top rooms, and varying only in size and position. Despite the high end feel, rooms are really quite well priced, especially when compared with neighbouring operations.

Not worth it

Phangan Bayshore is expensive for what you get. Staff are rude and the bungalows are small and dirty. Go down the beach and you will find better places.

Grumpy is spot on

We cut our stay here short after the owner wouldn't give us our passport to go change traveller's checks! I have no idea what she was trying to achieve, but it certainly got us out the door. Bungalows are ok, but bathrooms a bit yucky.
