Siam Cookie
Cheap and simple tranquillity

What we say:
Siam Cookie offers old-style backpacker beach bungalows and is a great place for budget travellers who want a bit of peace and quiet. Located on Sai Nual Bay, Siam Cookie has its own beach with decent swimming and snorkelling, though it's pretty rocky. Masks and snorkels are available for guests and you can hire kayaks too. Most of the inexpensive accommodation here is small, basic but well kept wooden bungalows. Some are larger and in better condition than others, so have a look around at a few before making your decision. On the plus side, the bungalows are very near the water and guests will enjoy spectacular views. Siam Cookie's main restaurant offers a range of Thai food and a few Western dishes, and has a comfy sala and small deck to hang around on. Banana Rock Bar across the beach provides a very cool place to hang out too. This multi-level driftwood-decorated bar sits on the rocks just above the water and offers good drinks in a laidback island atmosphere.
