Description
Operated by the same family as Sunset Bungalows, Moondance offers cheaper, more basic accommodation but with more amenities than other setups on Ao Kul Jeua. Moondance's tiny huts are on a hill above the beach and are very simple and somewhat aged, but they all have decks with stunning views of the sea. Moondance has a small, intimate restaurant on its own stretch of beach at Ao Kul Jeua's northwest end, which offers an excellent selection of dishes at decent prices. There is also a book exchange, games to borrow and a shop that provides all the essentials. Snorkels can be rented for 100B/day, and private boat trips can be arranged for 1,500B/day for up to four people.

I hiked for 30 minutes up hill to finally arrive at the secluded destination to find an unfriendly staff. Which would have been okay except in my short 3 days there I had two large lizards and snake sleeping in my room with me. What do ya do in that situation?
