Description
A rickety boardwalk around the eastern headland leads visitors from Haad Saikantang to Lighthouse Bungalows. Away from everything else, along the rocks and hillside without a beach of its own, this is a tranquil spot with a laid back vibe and friendly staff. A variety of small wooden huts and larger concrete bungalows line the hills at various angles and elevations so that most have a lovely view of the sea or Ko Samui. Hillside tree cover and a cool breeze make it very pleasant here even on the hottest days. Small, shabby and musty huts without bathrooms are available for penny pinchers and a variety of larger units with private bathrooms are more spacious, some sleeping up to four in two separate rooms, and in better shape.
