Long running Blue Wind offers inexpensive accommodation popular primarily among backpackers.
A range of different sized huts are positioned along palm-lined paths on Blue Wind's large grounds. Most huts are fairly small and provide only basic lodging with minimal amenities, but are in pretty good shape and have great decks. Larger air-con bungalows are also available. The best part about Blue Wind is its lovely two-storey restaurant and bakery turning out wonderful fresh bread and pastries. Care has been taken in putting this resort together, with even the smallest rooms having had a little thought given to their design. The very classy-looking restaurant is not outrageously priced. The friendly folks at Blue Wind also provide laundry services and yoga classes. The yoga school is noteworthy for fantastic, long-term staff and a great yoga room, which is open, airy and built with natural, wood-based materials.
