Description
Seashell's rooms all come with air-con, and are priced according to location. Geared toward higher budget scuba divers, they have a multilingual dive school for any level of diving ability. Seashell's bungalows are spacious, colourful pastel numbers that feature large comfortable beds with soft white linens. They're rather plain on the inside, however, with no real decoration. Further services include money exchange and travel info/booking. The restaurant on the beach provides standard fare and is a bit more expensive than most other nearby beachfront restaurants. In your spare time, between diving and relaxing on Sairee, attend Seashell's massage school. Seashell's staff are friendly but don't drop what they're doing to help guests like other, spendier resorts on the island.

Seashell has also standard wooden bungalows with fan, priced at 450 BHT. If you take a diver course you can have one of these bungalows for free, or 40% discount on the bigger ones.

There are several types of air con rooms to choose from - the bungalow pictured above was the type where we stayed and we paid 2500 baht per night. Any diving we did with them resulted in a discount for the room. The bungalow was beautiful - clean and well decorated with hot water, tv and fridge. There was also a nice porch with a lounge chair out front. There was one night and day where the electicity was out (common for the island) but Seashell gave us a large discount for that day. Overall we were quite happy staying there and would go back again.
