Sairee Cottage is an ideal spot for budget travellers. The brick bungalows here are among the cheapest on Ko Tao but are beautiful, are in amodern Thai design and are comfortably furnished. Large patios with wooden chairs are great for relaxing with a book or hanging out with a cold drink. Sairee Cottage's huts are well-spaced around open grassy grounds with a good deal of tree cover. They also have a sand volleyball court in the central courtyard. While most rooms are set back from the beach, Sairee Cottage has a relaxed beachfront restaurant serving inexpensive Thai and western food. This is certainly one of the finest budget locations on the island, but they accept walk-in guests only, so call ahead to see if they have any rooms available, but don't plan on reserving one.

I like to stay 10 nights in a beachfront bungalow, is this possible? I would arrive on the 15th of January 07.

We arrived on the 5th and 6th of July 05. Stayed in a meduim sized bungalow off the beach for 300THB a night. beautiful little bungalow with balcony. only had a small fan, bed was a little hard, bring mossi coils, only has power between 6pm and 6am, no hot water, plenty of room for packs. they have a beautiful restaurant on the beach with wooden decks with cushions to sit/lay on with low height tables. staff are really friendly and there is cheap internet on site. staff have no problem arranging trips on and off the island at good rates. no doubt we will be back! two nights just wasn't enough, prepare to relax!!
