Across the street from the beach in Sairee, Koh Tao Island Resort offers spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation primarily to backpackers and divers. They offer inexpensive huts that are fairly basic but charming and are large enough to have a table and chairs both inside and on the deck. The larger air-con bungalows feature stylish Thai design and provide a bit more luxury. Koh Tao Island Resort's grounds are vast with a lot of open space, yet their bungalows are packed rather close together. Enjoy a tropical cocktail or two at the Island Beach bar or relax with a traditional Thai massage in the beachside massage hut. Those interested in PADI certification or recreational diving around the island will appreciate the helpful and fully-stocked dive shop. Travel booking and on-site internet access (ADSL and WiFi) are also available.
