Description
Ban's is primarily a spot for divers, although they offer some comfortable accommodation for other travellers as well. Ban's has been operating since 1993 and is one of Ko Tao's most reputable dive resorts. The three-storey hotel-style buildings are positioned around gorgeous grounds with lush greenery, palm trees and fountains. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and suit different budgets. Divers training with Ban's dive centre receive discounted lodging. All rooms are spacious and well-furnished, and the more expensive rooms are very attractive and quite fancy. Ban's beach restaurant serves a variety of tasty cuisine including the typical Thai and western fare but also Israeli dishes. The pool is a good place to hang out when it's not being used for confined scuba training. Water skiing, wake boarding and kayaking (single: 100B/hour, 250B/half day, 400B/day; double: 200B/hour, 400B/half day, 700B/day) opportunities are available from Ban's reception.
