AC Resort
A noisy spot

What we say:
AC sits in lush grounds, with inexpensive wooden huts of varying quality available for those on a tight budget. The basic huts mostly have just mattresses on the floor or wooden plinth for beds. Larger rooms and bungalows with air-con and satellite TV provide much more comfort though the buildings themselves are a bit worn. AC Resort is connected with Phoenix Divers, which offers a full range of training and diving. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool and large sun deck. This is the party end of Haad Sairee, so light sleepers should go for rooms furthest away from the beach.

Not bad for divers
I stayed at AC resort while taking my diving course. It was a good deal in that regards. I stayed in the lowest priced bungalows. It was pretty basic. The room looked clean but there was only one light in a room that was almost all bed. King Sized. The sheets were cheap not completely cotton. There was a small closet space but no hangers. The bathroom, was attached to the side of the bungalow actually looking more permanent than the bungalow. Cold water showers but who needs heat when it is that hot. The staff were very kind and helpful. The noise from the AC bar went on late into the night maybe ending at 3am. However, since I was only paying 100 baht per night I was not going to complain. To get to the beach, you either had to walk through the restaurant/nightclub area or through a vacant lot that was full of junk.
