Description
AC Resort has something for everyone. The always swingin' AC Bar sits at the edge of the sand on Sairee beach and throws frequent beach parties. The resort sits across the street in lush grounds. Inexpensive wooden huts of varying quality are available for those on a tight budget. These basic huts are certainly nothing fancy. Larger rooms and bungalows with air-con and satellite TV provide much more comfort though the buildings themselves are a bit worn. AC is connected with Phoenix Divers, which offers a full range of training and diving opportunities. Guests will also enjoy the swimming pool and large sun deck.

Not bad for divers -

I stayed at AC resort while taking my diving course. It was a good deal in that regards. I stayed in the lowest priced bungalows. IT was pretty basic. The room looked clean but there was only one light in a room that was almost all bed. King Sized. The sheets were cheap not completely cotton. There was a small closet space but no hangers. The bathroom, was attached to the side of the bungalow actually looking more permanent than the bungalow. Cold water showers but who needs heat when it is that hot. The staff were very kind and helpful. The noise from the AC bar went on late into the night maybe ending at 3am. However, since I was o nly paying 1ooBht per night I was not going to complain. Too get to the beach, you either had to walk through the resturant/ nightclub area or through a vacnt lot that was full of junk.
