What we say: 4 stars

Koh Tao Coral Grand Resort is a classy setup toward the northern end of Sairee beach. Here you will find large, luxurious accommodation and friendly service. A selection of comfortable and spotlessly clean cabanas provides satellite TV, air-con and hot showers. Rooms are clustered around Coral Grand's lush palm grove grounds. A large pool near the beach provides the perfect place to cool off, or relax with a good book or a cocktail -- or both -- on a poolside deck chair. The Happy Snapper Restaurant is a casual place to enjoy delicious Thai and international cuisine. Food and drinks can also be ordered to the pool, the beach or guest rooms, and breakfast is included. Coral Grand also has a fully-stocked professional dive shop that offers a full range of PADI certification courses as well as recreational diving. Free taxi service is provided to Mae Haad pier daily at 8:30 and 13:30 (other times it's 50B/person). This is a friendly and very comfortable place for your island getaway.
