Jungle Huts
Popular backpacker spot

What we say:
Jungle Huts is a quirky budget spot where the design theme appears to have been no two bungalows can look alike. The grounds feel something like a jungle village since all rooms are different — some made from wood, others bamboo, others concrete; some big, some small, many in between. Due to the many options on offer it pays to check out a few rooms to see what suits you. The cheapest bamboo huts are basic and a little worn with nothing but a foam bed, mosquito net, simple bathroom and small front porch, but they do have some character and are well worth the price. Larger bamboo offerings are similar but sleep 3-4, while a few concrete rooms raised higher above the ground are bright and cool, and are a good choice for families on a budget. The 500 baht medium sized bungalows all the way in the back near the river enjoy the best location. There are also a few newer concrete raised five-sided rooms in the front, but they have no tree cover at all so we suggest to go for one in the back first. All rooms, even the cheapest, come with hot water. WiFi and a restaurant are available in the lobby, staff are laid back and like to joke around with their guests, and overall the place has a happy and lively vibe.
