Pariya is the only true resort on Haad Yuan bay.
You can tell from the beach that this place is different from the rest. The beachfront entrance has bright oversized bean bags, low coffee tables and matching umbrellas. The rooms are large and octagonal with clean white painted walls and simple but minimal modern decor and inviting beds. The luxurious bathrooms have large shower heads, hot water and a deep bath. A sign indicated that hot water gets turned off for certain hours in the middle of the day. The quality of the rooms are variable and it would be wise to have a look first as the ones at the rear in particular are not so great. Every room has air-con, a TV, a bed and couch with coffee tables. Three of the 40 rooms here have a Jacuzzi outside on the deck. The rooms set back from are a maze of stairs into the hills with trees providing privacy. Balconies are large with chairs and tables. Pariya is the only place to have a (guests-only) swimming pool on Haad Yuan. It is a clean and manicured area dotted with sculptures. The surrounding area has a variety of seating from cushioned deckchairs to private cushioned pagodas. Close by is the beach bar on the sandy area just off the beach. Large hammocks scatter the border between the resort and the beach. The staff speak good English and are friendly. Pariya also has its own massage, a shop, ground floor WiFi (won’t reach most rooms), and a library room with a pool table. Prices vary according to view, Jacuzzi, high and low season. Prices can rise significantly close to full moon. You can book with or without breakfast.
