Scattered along the rocky cliff to the south of Haad Thian, Horizon is the most remote and tranquil Muay Thai training camp on the island -- tranquil that is, when you're not lifting weights or being kicked in the head. The small woven bamboo huts here are perched along the edge of the cliff offering some great views, but are very basic accommodation designed for crashing after a hard day of training and nothing more. The rates become more reasonable when combined with a training package. A single lesson costs 250-350B/person, while packages with room included cost 3,500-6,500/week or 13,500-24,000/month. Prices vary based on season and single or double occupancy in the room. Horizon is recommended only for boxing trainees, but the terrace restaurant has amazing views worth checking out if you can wake someone up to serve you.
