Santhiya Resort and Spa
One for the expense account

What we say:
Santhiya occupies its own private cove and a vast hillside on the northern end of Thong Nai Pan Noi. This is quite possibly the most luxurious -— certainly the most expensive -— place on Ko Pha Ngan. All rooms and villas here are well-equipped with all the comforts upscale travellers could want including air-con, TV and DVD, refrigerators and in-room safe to name but a few. The lodging options, all very spacious, immaculate and comfortably-furnished, range from deluxe suites to a variety of private villas, some with their own swimming pool. The prices here are astronomical, really unjustifiable for a luxury resort just about anywhere, let alone on this laid-back little Thai island. For the wealthy traveller and families who want—and can afford—the very best, this is it. The top-notch service is friendly and there's even a speedboat at guests' disposal, costing a mere 2,000B/person to Thong Sala, a drop in the bucket compared to the room rates.
