Big Blue is the most happening place on Haad Yuan, attracting a lively, younger clientele. The rooms suit most budgets and can accommodate up to four people. The wooden bungalows are clean and comfortable, spread along the hillside garden just off the beach. They offer plenty of activities to keep guests occupied, including the only basketball court in the area (if not the island), as well as beach volleyball, kayaks (50-70B/hour) and other sports equipment. For those who want to relax, sun chairs and a movie lounge in the cosy restaurant are good places to flop for a while. With a gift shop and mini mart, they seem to have it all here. A fun choice and good value.
