After a bit of a wicked climb, find yourself in complete tranquility when staying at Plaa's Than Sadet.
The bungalows here come at three main price points with the cheapest being small simple huts that have really seen better days. You get a lot more though for an extra 200 baht though and if you can stretch to the mid price, you'll be glad you did. Bungalows are very well sized with plenty of space, comfortable beds, mosquito nets, immaculate turquoise tiled bathrooms with stone features. Balconies are equally large, with both a table setting and a hammock and glass doors that let you take in the terrific views many of the bungalows enjoy. Views are out over the ocean rather than over the beach -- perfect for whiling away the day staring out to sea. The large restaurant enjoys even better views, but this time over the beach. Note that in the early morning the restaurant and some of the bungalows score the full brunt of the sun and it can get excruciatingly hot. The most expensive bungalows are big enough for a family. Staff can be a little slow off the mark but the food here is good.
