Description
Overlooking the beach and the sea, Plaa's Than Sadet sits atop the cliff at the northern of Than Sadet Beach. With some of the highest quality accommodations on the beach and a wonderful cliff top terrace restaurant with a wide selection of well-priced cuisine, Plaa's is a great choice. Their clean, comfortable bungalows offer a variety of spectacular views through large glass windows. Some even feature bath tubs, although there's no hot water –- not that you'd need it. The cool breeze high above the beach also offers an escape from the tropical heat. Beachgoers will appreciate the option to traverse a more stable path to the beach in addition to the treacherous rocky climb used to access other guesthouses. Plaa's also provides the cheapest laundry service (50B/kilo) and internet access (2B/minute) on Than Sadet, though the internet signal has been known to come and go. With their cozy bungalows and breathtaking views, the friendly folks at Plaa's Than Sadet provide quality accommodations at a great price. Recommended.

Great spot but sea water is polluted - ![]()

We've stayed in the deluxe bungalow (the one you can see on their website). Even if not so immaculate as it seems in the pictures there's a great fantastic view.
The restaurant was the best in our experience on Koh Pha Ngan and the staff is really friendly. Unfortunately the sea was under our expectations. Polluted and smelly probably due to the countless boats going and coming every day (many tourists make day trips stopping here to visit waterfalls).
For this reason we left the beach after just one night.
