Description
Located at the far western end of the beach, this is the highest quality spot in Chaloklum. The rooms range from classic island style bungalows for budget travellers to luxurious Thai style deluxe suites. The latter is for upscale spenders and some of the prices are quite high. Nonetheless, all rooms are clean and very well-kept with plenty of space. Most bathrooms are very large and tiled. A large infinity swimming pool with a snazzy wooden sun deck and little poolside bar are new as of 2007 and are lovely. The service here is also very friendly and helpful. Taxi service, laundry and travel assistance add to the value. A highly-recommended spot. The only downfall is that the beach here is unatrractively muddy at low tide, but this is true of many beaches around the island.
