Description
A small operation near the beach, Nanthawan offers a handful of passable bungalows for thrifty travellers. The plain wooden bungalows are spacious, relatively solid and mostly clean. The hard beds, though, feel like a baord topped with a thin layer of foam padding, and they could use some fresh linens. Some toilets are missing their seats, so ask to see another room if you require such luxuries. The family here, while not the friendliest, is fairly helpful and provides an inexpensive restaurant and laundry service. For backpackers seeking cheap lodging on a decent beach, Nanthawan's huts are fine for the price.
