Description
With most of its bungalows on the beach, Fanta offers cheap rooms, mostly suitable for backpackers and other budget travellers, along with mediocre service. The huts here consist primarily of very basic, worn wooden bungalows, some of them built in pairs, with super-cheap dark and shabby cement duplex rooms also available. Relatively inexpensive air-con rooms are a plus, provinding little more comfort besides the extreme cold that can be so nice to come inside to. The restaurant is also inexpensive and situated on the beach. At slower times of the day it can be dificult to wake the staff or get their attention, but this isn't as big a problem in the higher season when things are hectic most of the time. The nearby Take Off Bar is a laid-back place for an afternoon drink. Not the friendliest or most comfortable spot on the beach, Fanta is well-priced and remains popular because of it's prime beach location.
