Golden Hil Resort's rooms vary in comfort from very basic fan rooms to fully-equipped air-con units with TV and refrigerators. The rooms are large and clean, most with excellent sea views -- some are blocked by overgrown foliage -- but are packed very close together along the hillside. The swimming pool and sun deck are the major draw -- and what guests are paying for -- so be sure to take advantage. The restaurant offers a very inexpensive menu featuring Thai and western standards and the large terrace bar is great at sunset.
