What we say: 3 stars

Several little wooden bungalows line the large grassy hilltop at Rock Garden -- those closer to the cliff have wonderful views and easier access to the tiny private beach far below, which is a little scary to walk down to. Across the grounds, a handful of very large units peer out over the sea. These are primarily for monthly stays or longer, but good nightly rates are sometimes available. These mini-houses have large, comfortably-furnished sleeping rooms and a separate kitchen with a large fridge, stove, blender, kettle and all the utensils one could need. Several fancier air-con rooms in a newly-constructed building should be available by December 2007 and will be quite posh.
